"Not only was [the concert] sponsoring a worthy cause (Victoria READ Society), but also,
it was a real pleasure to participate in such a toe-tapping, energetic and fun loving evening.
I have sung in a number of choirs, and I have been to many choir concerts, but I don't think
I have ever seen a choir enjoying itself so much while producing such a great sound. I was
amazed at the reaction from the audience: our normally very proper Victoria audience was
clapping and swaying and singing along, and clearly having an excellent evening.

"It was such a treat -- really one of the highlights of the Holiday Season
for me. Having lived in Seattle for a time where I frequented a Baptist
Church which was the home of a sensational gospel choir, I was absolutely
delighted to find out that there was a new gospel choir right here in Victoria.
What a welcome addition to our community. Gospel music really speaks to my
soul as it is all about joy and your choir did a magnificent job of sharing
their joy with the audience.
And how wonderful to have Checo Tohomaso, with all of his success and
experience, to lead your choir. He is a very charismatic and colorful
individual. For such an inexperienced choir, he has done a remarkable job
of shining the spotlight on some lovely, young voices. All of the young
women who sang solo were excellent.
