Performance Eligibility
|
Our Choir exists for the benefit of our members, and we have no attendance requirement - you can drop-in to a rehearsal or workshop any time, as often or as little as you like.
But if you want to perform in concert with us, you must meet our Performance Eligibility requirements.
Performance eligibility is attained by accumulating points. Each Rehearsal and Workshop attendance is worth 2 points.
To perform in a concert, a member must:
- accumulate 12 points in the 3 months prior to the performance
- accumulate 14 points in the 6 months prior to the performance
- accumulate 4 points in the month prior to the performance
A member who feels qualified to perform, but does not meet the eligibility requirements can appeal, in writing, to the Executive Committee ([email protected]). Appeals will be considered on an individual basis.
NOTE: Although you don't mark the sign-up sheets, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that your attendance is properly recorded on the sign-up sheet.
